How can we help? 👋

I sent cryptocurrency to another wallet address, but they haven't received it. What could be the issue, and how can I recover the funds?

If you are sending cryptocurrency to another wallet address but the recipient has not received it, there are several possibilities that could cause this issue, and here some steps to troubleshoot it:

1. Transaction Not Confirmed Yet

  • Reason: The transaction may still be pending due to network congestion or low transaction fees.
  • Solution: Check the transaction status on the blockchain explorer using the transaction hash (TXID). On this case, you can check under “Activity”, find your “Sent” history. Then you can click the link below “Transaction code” or you can copy then paste to the blockchain explorer.

2. Incorrect Wallet Address

  • Reason: The wallet address entered was incorrect or incomplete.
  • Solution: Double-check the wallet address you used. Due to the irreversible nature of cryptocurrency protocols, transactions cannot be canceled or reversed once they have been initiated. Therefore, it is crucial to exercise caution when sending funds and ensure that the recipient's address is an exact match before proceeding with the transaction.

3. Wrong Network

  • Reason: The crypto was sent via a different blockchain network (e.g., sent via Tron network instead of Ethereum).
  • Solution: Verify that the recipient's wallet supports the network you used. If not, you may need to match both networks first before sending.

4. Unsupported Cryptocurrency

  • Reason: If you send to external wallet, the recipient's wallet may not support the cryptocurrency you sent.
  • Solution: Ensure the recipient's wallet can receive the specific cryptocurrency you transferred. If not, the funds may be irretrievable.

5. Delays on Exchange or Wallet

  • Reason: The recipient's exchange or wallet provider is experiencing delays in processing deposits.
  • Solution: If you are sending within Rapidz users, you can contact us through the email (contact@rapidz.io), But if the recipient's wallet is coming from external wallet, you may contact to their exchanger support team for clarification.

6. Double-Check Transaction Details

We recommend to review these following points before you proceed to send the fund:

  • The correct recipient’s wallet address.
  • The cryptocurrency type.
  • The network used for the transfer.
